Arts Partners of Wichita is affiliated with the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network. Its goal is to inspire creativity and learning by using the arts to enhance the classroom experience for students.

Maggie Vaults Over the Moon is listed among the great reads on the 2014-15 Battle of the Books list in the Wichita Diocese Catholic Schools.
The Battle of the Books is a popular reading contest for 5th and 6th graders in the district, which includes 25 elementary schools in south central Kansas. The purpose of the program is to encourage students to read good books and have fun competing against students from other schools. The Jeopardy-like team competitions begin in March. Continue reading
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — It’s been a banner year at Texas Pole Vault at EliteSportz, home of Desiree Freier, who became the greatest teen vaulter in US history.
Recently, a group of campers received outstanding instruction at the club and were awarded copies of the novel, Maggie Vaults Over the Moon. The club earned a Maggie banner for its role as a major sponsor for the campaign to help narrator Tavia Gilbert perform and produce the story on audiobook.
“To have Maggie’s banner hanging at Texas Pole Vault at EliteSportz is one of the greatest honors she could have,” said author Grant Overstake. “When you talk about this club, you’re talking about the hottest pole-vaulting club in the nation.” Continue reading
