Inspired Young Vaulter Soars Over and Over With Maggie on Kindle!

“I have probably read it more than 20 times (not even kidding).”

SADORUS, Ill. — Since she began pole-vaulting just two years ago, Taylor Millsap has soared to many personal records (PRs).

Over the past few months, however, Taylor might’ve set the world record (WR) for the number of times anyone has read her favorite novel, Maggie Vaults Over the Moon.Maggie Vaults Over the Moon

“I have probably read it more than 20 times (not even kidding),” Taylor writes in her awesome review (see below).

Taylor’s favorite read tells the story of Maggie Steele, a gutsy farm girl from Grain Valley, Kansas, who pours her broken heart into the daring sport of pole-vaulting. Driven by a secret that she dare not share with anyone, Maggie struggles over many obstacles as she attempts to soar waaay higher than her critics think a girl should ever go.

Author Grant Overstake says, “It’s a great feeling to know that Maggie has inspired this wonderful young person to soar higher and higher!”

Maggie Vaults Over the Moon“I was impressed,” Stone writes. “Mostly for how [author Grant Overstake] got into the mind of a Kansas farm girl. But especially his eye for detail. Grant vividly describes track meets and vaulting.”

While Maggie is technically a young adult novel, Stone adds, “I could see this book being popular with masters athletes as well.”

In fact, Stone was in the process of reading Maggie Vaults Over the Moon during the recent USATF Masters National Track and Field Championships, in which he competed as an athlete and wrote about for his international readership. Continue reading
