GRAIN VALLEY, Kan. — The audiobook version of Maggie Vaults Over the Moon, narrated by voice actress Tavia Gilbert, has been released by distribution giant Blackstone Audio to major internet platforms and download sites around the world.
“It’s a dream come true to hear this story brought to life by a superstar talent like Tavia,” said author Grant Overstake. “Her performance is spot-on perfect and now everyone can hear it.”
Blackstone Audio is the nation’s largest independent audiobook publisher. Its vast collection includes over 10,000 titles, including countless bestsellers. Maggie Vaults Over the Moon will fill a gap in a growing category — Sports Fiction for Tween and Teenage Girls.
Gilbert, a six-time finalist for the Audie Awards (the Oscars for Audiobook performers), multiple Earphones, and Parent’s Choice Award-winner, was instrumental in promoting the crowdfunding campaign that financed the project, and assured its distribution through Blackstone Audio.
“This project was made possible because countless people saw the potential for this story to inspire, comfort, strengthen, and ignite the passion of young people, and I’m grateful that Grant honored me by allowing me to tell Maggie’s story,” Gilbert said.
In addition to being sold through Blackstone Audio, Downpour, and Audible, the audiobook is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indigo Books & Music, Indiebound and many other sites. The title also will be introduced to over 20,000 school and public libraries nationwide. Order the library version on CD at BlackstoneAudio.com.
This is also a special day for Maggie’s Audiobook Campaign donors and sponsors, including Artist Phillip Carrero, Dial Athletics, Gill Athletics, Fuzion Athletics, Raise the Bar Pole Vault Club, Rusty Shealy Pole Vault Club, Texas Pole Vault Club at Elitz Sports, Tailwind Pole Vault Club, and Vaulter Magazine.
“Thanks to these supporters, our gritty farm girl has come a long way from Grain Valley, Kansas,” he said. “And now that Tavia has brought her story to life, Maggie’s journey has only just begun.”
