Maggie Vaults Over the Moon has vaulted back home to Southeast Kansas via the Southeast Kansas Library System, making the novel available in some 150 public and school libraries in the same distinctive rural region where the story is set, in fictional Grain Valley, Kansas.
Now the author is asking Maggie fans to help her vault onto library bookshelves across the nation.
“If you’ve read the book and like the story, please lend your copy of Maggie to your local librarians and encourage them to read it for themselves,” said Grant Overstake. “Word-of-mouth recommendations from readers like you are the best way to help put Maggie on the shelves.”
Maggie Vaults Over the Moon tells the story of Maggie Steele, a gutsy farm girl who overcomes tragedy and soars to new heights as a pole-vaulter.
The novel has been endorsed by Olympic pole-vaulters, coaches, school counselors and librarians who appreciate its wholesome message for young people — and by enthusiastic young readers themselves.
