About YoungJu Kim

Born and raised in Busan, South Korea, YoungJu’s childhood was filled with folktales, books, drawing, and painting. After initially pursuing a career as a schoolteacher, her passion for visual storytelling guided her to the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, where she honed her skills to become an illustrator. She now resides in Vienna, Virginia.
